The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority shall replace the Capital Market Authority effective 1-7-2009.

ISIN Code
The Capital Market Authority is member of ANNA (Association of National Numbering Agencies) and as such it is considered the sole body in Egypt responsible for coding securities issues at the National level ever since it adopted ISIN (International Securites Identification Number) for financial instruments used in the Egyptian Capital market as of March 2002. It is worthy of note, however, that ANNA has until now 64 members representing world capital markets.The CMA Information Center has developed ISINs as pursuant to rules adopted by ANNA and this has come into force for Egyptian securities in the capital market as from January 28th, 2003.
