The Union of the Arab Bourses Announces its Need to Fill the Position of the Secretary General - Monday 11-8-2008

The union of the Arab bourses announces its need to fill the position of the secretary general of the union. The main duty of the secretary general is to manage the administrative body as well as the secretariat of the union, this is in addition to dealing with the daily issues and implementing the plans and the working programs set by the board of the union.

The requirements needed for the post of the secretary general:

  1. The candidate must be an Arab.
  2. The candidate must be at least 35 years and not older than 55 years old; by the date he is applying for the position.
  3. The candidate must have a bachelor degree in a relevant field, as a bachelor in economy, business administration or capital market. Having higher degrees in capital market will be preferable.
  4. The candidate must have at least ten years experience in capital markets.
  5. The candidate must have proficiency in Arabic and English Languages. The mastery of other languages, especially the French is an advantage.
  6. The candidate must submit a study which may include his views regarding activating and stimulating the role of the union, both on the regional and the international side. He must also submit another study which expresses his views concerning how to bring the members states together, this which may facilitate the discussion among them.
  7. The candidate must pass the personal interviews and must bring the original copies of the required documents.

 The candidates shall send a post request to the following email address uasecandidate@gmail.com. Noted that 14 – 8-2008 is the deadline for sending the requests. The post request must include the following:

  • A request shows that the candidate would like to fill that position and that he is ready to live in Lebanon the headquarter of the union.
  • The CV of the candidate.
  • Any other information that may help the committee to take the decision.
  • The study above mentioned in item 6.
